Mission Field: Sudan

Question: What did you learn growing up on the mission field?

Pierre: I grew up in Sudan as my parents were serving the Lord. The mission field taught my family and I how to trust He who called us to this foreign land, and it also taught us a lesson that we would not forget out of experience: God is faithful, and His mercies never fail!

Question: Why did you choose a Christian college?

Pierre: I chose a Christian college because I thought it would be a better pick for me as a believer than a college that is secular. A Christian system in place helps students who are still struggling with their faith and it also helps those who have their faith figured out live as agents of renewal among their class communities.

Question: How has CMSF helped you on your journey?

Pierre: One of the many fears that I had while applying to college is the financial demand and burden of tuition. God is always faithful, and He has used the Christian Missionary Scholarship Foundation to support my college journey financially. I thank God for the CMSF, for their vision, and for their constant support throughout the years.

Question: What is your major and how do you plan to use it after you graduate?

Pierre: I am majoring in Biochemistry in the Pre-medicine track. My plans for the future are to step where God leads me and to be sensitive to His calling. I personally feel called to serve the underserved, and I want to do that as a doctor, a qualified individual who can assist in building destroyed walls back home in Cairo, Egypt. Iā€™m hoping and praying to go to medical school and go back home to serve Jesus and to help with rebuilding cracked walls.
